IPL 2024: Second half of mega event to be moved out of India: Report

As per sources, some of the franchises have already asked the players to submit their passports.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has just announced the first two weeks of the upcoming edition of Indian Premier League (IPL) with the T20 league starting on March 22 in Chennai with a game between defending champions Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Royal Challengers Bangalore. 

The two-week schedule runs from March 22 to April 7. The elections are likely to take place in the mid or end of April. As per reports in some section of media, BCCI is exploring the possibility of organising the second half of the Indian Premier League (IPL) in the UAE.
