IPL 2023: Girl crying after RCB’s loss against LSG becomes internet sensation, watch viral video

Several fans were crestfallen following Royal Challenger Bangalore’s (RCB) narrow loss against Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) in a thrilling encounter of the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bangalore on Tuesday.

Riding on blistering half-centuries by Kohli, captain Faf du Plessis and Glenn Maxwell, RCB scored 212 for the loss of two wickets in the stipulated 20 overs. However, LSG chased down the total for the loss of nine wickets in the keenly contested game.

Among several frustrated RCB fans was a girl who became an internet sensation overnight. The diehard fan was heartbroken following RCB’s loss and hence she was in tears which were captured on camera.

The video has reportedly gone viral over various social media platforms. It has garnered several likes and comments.

Notably, RCB have been fined for maintaining a slow over-rate during the high-voltage encounter. As it was RCB’s first offence of the season under the IPL’s Code of Conduct relating to minimum over-rate offences, captain Faf du Plessis was fined Rs 12 lakh. Meanwhile, LSG’s Avesh Khan has been reprimanded for breaching the Code of Conduct.
