Young batting sensation Vaibhav Suryavanshi made ripples in the recently-concluded Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 by batting aggressively. Now, inspired by the Rajasthan Royal's young batting sensation, his close friend Ayan Raj has played an incredible whirlwind knock.

Thirteen-year-old Ayan recently grabbed headlines after slamming an unbeaten 327 runs off just 134 balls in a district-level cricket match in Muzaffarpur, Bihar.

Playing for Sanskriti Cricket Academy, Ayan stunned all and sundry with his incredible batting as he swatted 41 fours and 22 sixes in the 30-over match.

Astonishingly, 296 of Ayan's runs came from just boundaries as he dominated the proceedings completely with an unbelievable strike rate of 220.89.

After playing the innings, Ayan said that he shares a close bond with Vaibhav and even looks up to the IPL sensation.

"Every time I talk to Vaibhav bhai, I get a special feeling. We used to play together when we were younger. Today, he has made a big name for himself, and I'm also following in his footsteps," said Ayan in an interaction after the match.

Notably, after his brilliant batting in IPL, several fans and many experts are comparing Suryavanshi with Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar.
