Ajinkya Rahane
Once Ajinkya Rahane was Team India’s mainstay in the batting order especially in the longest format of the game. However, the veteran batter has passed his prime. Rahane’s last Test match for India was in July 2023 in West Indies. Fans are expecting Rahane to announce his retirement soon.

Ishant Sharma
The veteran cricketer is the only specialist Indian pacer to play in 100 Test matches. The last of his 105 Tests came in November 2021, having made his Test debut in 2007. The lanky pacer is expected to announce his retirement this year.
Umesh Yadav
Speedster Umesh Yadav has claimed 170 Test wickets in 57 Tests. He made his debut in 2011 and his last Test match was the ICC WTC 2021-23 final, after which he was dropped. Umesh may announce his retirement in 2025.
Bhuvneshwar Kumar
The veteran pacer was a great swing bowler for India for years. He played 21 Test matches between 2013 and 2018, in which he snared 63 wickets at an average of 26 with four five-fors. His career has been severely dented by multiple injuries. He may announce his retirement in 2025.
Rohit Sharma
The veteran batter has already announced his retirement from T20 cricket. He is currently going through a horrible form of his life. He may announce his retirement from Test cricket this year.
Ravindra Jadeja
