The Indian team for the first-ever women’s visually impaired T20 World Cup has been announced, with four players from Odisha securing places in the 16-member squad. The inclusion of the Odia cricketers marks a moment of pride for the state as India prepares to host the tournament from November 11 to 25.

The four Odia players selected are all-rounders Phula Soren and Basanti Hansda, wicketkeeper Parbati Marandi, and bowler Jamuna Rani Tudu. Their selection ensures Odisha a strong representation in the national team for this historic tournament.

The women’s visually impaired T20 World Cup will be played across India between November 11 and 25.
