The Pandya brothers, Hardik and Krunal, are celebrated and well known for their explosive all-round cricketing skills, but off the field, they’ve shown a side that has touched hearts. Their childhood coach, Jitendra Singh, has revealed how the duo stood by him like family, extending financial and emotional support in ways that went far beyond cricket.

Helping Hand in Weddings

Jitendra recalled that the brothers ensured his first sister’s wedding took place smoothly in 2018 by stepping in with financial help. Again, in February 2024, they contributed nearly Rs 20 lakh for his second sister’s marriage, along with additional gifts. He estimates that over the years, the duo has provided nearly Rs 70–80 lakh in assistance.

A Car for His Safety

The coach also remembered how Hardik, fresh from his debut India tour in 2015-16, surprised him with a car worth Rs 5–6 lakh. Initially hesitant to accept the gift, Jitendra relented when Hardik insisted, “We are giving you a car for your safety. You shouldn’t suffer an accident while riding a bike.” Krunal was too convinced him, showing how deeply they valued their mentor.

“Your Sister Is My Sister”

Jitendra revealed that Hardik once told him, “Your sister is my sister. Just let me know whenever the wedding is fixed. Don’t worry about anything.” That bond became even clearer when Hardik offered him financial support during his mother’s illness, telling him, “Please take all my money and make sure she recovers.”

Brothers Beyond the Game

For Jitendra Singh, Hardik and Krunal are not just cricketers he trained; they are family, whose kindness and generosity continue to leave an indelible mark.
