Indian Premier League is not just a league, but an opportunity for young budding Indian talents to showcase their skills on the grand stage which potentially gives them a real chance to don the Indian Jersey in future.

With the mega auction for the cash-rich cricket extravaganza is coming up all eyes are on the players who will be going under the hammer.

But, do you know that Govinda's son-in-law is also an IPL player, and he is none other than Nitish Rana who is married to Saachi Marwah who is the niece of the actor. Rana is included in the IPL auction and will be among the 1574 players who will go under the hammer on November 24 and 25.

Nitish Rana was first picked by Mumbai Indians in the 2016 season and played a few matches for them before announcing his arrival in 2017 where he scored 333 runs and played all the matches for MI. He stayed with Mumbai for 2 seasons before forming a new relationship with Kolkata Knight Riders where he was picked by KKR for Rs 3.4 crore in 2018.

He performed consistently for them and was also in the winning squad of KKR where the purple team lifted their 3rd trophy in 2024 which showcased their prowess as one of the consistent and successful teams along with Mumbai Indians and Chennai Super Kings.

With his consistency, many teams would like to have Rana in their team who would be a good middle-overs player for them. Rana’s base price for IPL 2025 is set to be Rs 1.5 crore.
