New Zealand all-rounder Glenn Phillips just proved again why he is rated among the best when it comes to fielding. In the ongoing 2nd test match between New Zealand and Australia in Christchurch, the Kiwi all-rounder grabbed a stunning catch to dismiss Marnus Labschagne when he was on 90.
The incident took place on the second delivery of the 61st over where Labuschangne, who was batting on 90, threw his bat to a wide-length ball to play a cut shot. The ball went straight towards Phillips who made a full stretched dive to his right to take a one-handed blinder.
During the test series against South Africa last month, Glenn Phillips took another one-handed blinder to dismiss Keagan Petersen on 43 to show why he is one of the most agile fielders in world cricket at the moment.
As things stand now, Australia scored 256 runs, taking a healthy lead of 94 runs after bowling New Zealand out for 164 runs in the first innings. Now, New Zealand has reduced the deficit to 7 runs with Kane Williamson 41 and Tom Latham 43 batting together on Day 2.
