One of the finest cricketers from India, Virat Kohli just served a major scare. Taking to his official X (formerly Twitter) handle, the star player shared a seemingly cryptic post that contained a block of text against a white background.
“Looking back, we’ve always been a bit different. We never fitted...,” read the first lines of the text.
To make matters worse, the status update came shortly after AR Rahman posted on the same platform announcing his separation from his wife of 29 years, Sara Banu. As such, readers did not take long to wonder if Kohli had any differences with his wife, Anushka Sharma.
Fortunately, towards the end, the text read, “So here’s ten years to doing it our way-the Wrogn way,” which made it clear that it was all but a marketing post for the fashion brand, Wrogn.
Known for its trendy designs and high-quality casual wear, Wrogn had signed on Virat Kohli as its brand ambassador back in 2014, and hence the “ten years” were mentioned in the post.
Coincidentally, the star player had also begun dating Sharma close to ten years ago. Thus, the timing, style, phrasing, and subtle coincidences like the one mentioned above, left fans in extreme shock. Rather, such was the intensity that readers commented in anguish and even anger for putting them through the horrifying experience.
“Mujhe laga AR Rehman type kuch hai (sic) (I thought this is something like AR Rahman’s post,” one user commented and summed up what everyone else likely felt.

“Virat, this is not acceptable,” an angry fan replied even as others followed with “Please stop using this white post 😭🙏,” “You gave a heart attack,” “I just died, and “Do not play with us like this please! 😭” read the comments section of that post.
