Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) eliminated Chennai Super Kings (CSK) from the playoffs in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024.

Following the development, former CSK star Ambati Rayudu was heartbroken. The former aggressive batter was found sitting with hands covering his face after Yash Dayal bowled the last ball of the match.

There were wild celebrations on the roads of Bengaluru by the crazy fans as RCB made one of the most memorable comebacks in the history of the cash-rich league. Even the players were in jubilant mood after making it to the last four.

In response, Rayudu mocked the Faf du Plessis-led franchise.

"RCB should win the IPL. We saw what was the reaction on the streets of Bengaluru. In fact CSK should give one of their trophies to RCB so they can parade it," said Rayudu on air.

However, former India pacer Varun Aaron took a dig at Rayudu for his humiliating statement.

"Rayudu is just not able to digest the fact that RCB knocked out CSK," said Aaron.
