Australia completed a 3-0 whitewash Vs Pakistan in Sydney Cricket Ground by giving a perfect farewell gift to David Warner who has been a great ambassador to the Australia Cricket. David Warner has played many significant knocks for Australia in his illustrious test career spanning over 11 years.
However, a cute moment happened during the match in Sydney when Warner was dismissed for 57 and walked towards the dressing room. Soaking the applause from the fans at Sydney Cricket Ground, he gave his gloves and helmet to a young kid in a sign of a great gesture by the Australian Legend.
Warner began his career as a T20 batsman but after his test debut against New Zealand in 2011, he never looked back. He went on to become one of the best openers Australia has ever produced.
After bidding farewell to test cricket, David Warner will focus on playing Big Bash League and other T20 league games.
Warner completed his test career with 8786 runs with an average of 44.6 with 26 hundreds to his name.
