Wilkins took to social media to share that he has received the all-clear on his throat cancer, and expressed his excitement about returning to the IPL. In his post, the 71-year-old said this new chapter has made him feel young all over again and emphasized his message: “Never give up.”

“Knowing that I am heading to India to work on the @IPL after being given the All Clear from throat cancer by @VelindreCS @VelindreTrust @Velindre makes me feel incredibly blessed. And “young" again! Never Give Up." his update read.
