The Border-Gavaskar Trophy, a prestigious contest between India and Australia, is set to begin soon. As India prepares to face a formidable Australian bowling attack led by Starc, Cummins, and Hazlewood, players like Jaiswal and Pant bolster India's batting under Rohit Sharma's leadership. Previous victories in 2018 and 2021 have boosted India's confidence.

Being at par with the Ashes, the Border-Gavaskar Trophy has given many memorable matches between India and Australia. Be it the epic Perth test of 2008, Adelaide in 2018, or Gabba in 2021, each of these matches has its own charm which showcased how India out-skilled Australia at their own den.

As the upcoming Border-Gavaskar Trophy is less than a month, Australian captain Pat Cummins has picked India’s Legend Sachin Tendulkar’s marathon knock of 241* runs as his most memorable knock of the Test series.

Playing against pacers like Jason Gillespie, Brett Lee, Nathan Bracken, the little master played one of his finest knocks on the shores of Australia. He deflected the Aussie bowling lineup as he scored all of his runs either straight or towards the leg side.

Sachin’s assured knock helped him get back into form after he registered a string of low scores during the first couple of test matches.

As far as Indian batting is concerned, with the likes of Jaiswal and Pant in the team, India batting is looking solid to take on the fiery Aussie bowling lineup comprising Starc, Cummins and Hazlewood.

India have previously beaten Australia twice in 2018 and 2021 and will aim to make a hat trick under the leadership of Rohit Sharma this season.
