Be it Test, ODI, or T20, one cannot think of cricket without Virat Kohli. The Delhi lad has achieved remarkable success in his illustrious career spanning 14 years with over 26,000 international runs and 80 centuries.
However, as the star batter is ruled out of the 3rd and 4th Tests Vs England, several questions are being raised on social media over his absence from the longer formats.
Now BCCI Secretary Jay Shah has expressed his views on Virat Kohli’s absence from the test series against England.
"Virat Kohli is not that kind of a player who would ask for a leave without any reason. If somebody, who is asking for a personal leave in 15 years, then it is his right. We must back and trust our players," Shah said.
Meanwhile, India are missing the services of Virat Kohli in Rajkot. India’s struggling middle order has been exposed yet again to England bowlers as the team lost three wickets in the first hour of play in Rajkot.

There are reports that Virat Kohli is expected to be available for the final test Vs England which is set to be played in Dharamsala. However, there is no confirmation in this regard.
