After a prolonged & excruciating wait for the cricket fans, One Day International (ODI) cricket action is all set to return to the Barabati Stadium in Cuttack. 

As per the fixtures schedule announced by the BCCI for the international home season of Team India (Senior Men) for 2024-25, an international match between India and England will be played at the Barabati Stadium in Cuttack on February 9, 2025. The match will be played during the tour of England to India at the start of the next year.

England will tour India for five T20Is starting January 22, 2025 and three ODIs, starting February 6, 2025. 

While the five T20Is will be played in Chennai, Kolkata, Rajkot, Pune and Mumbai, Nagpur, Cuttack and Ahmadabad will host the ODIs. 

The last ODI was played at Barabati Stadium in December 2019.
