33 districts to vie for top honours in Sahani cup

The 64th Senior Men Inter District Football Championship for Sahani Cup 2025 will ckick-start from 16th July 2025.

As many as 33 districts from across Odisha will vie for top honours in this year’s edition.

A preparatory meeting for the organisation of the prestigious tournament has already been held.

The Championship will be conducted by the Football Association of Odisha (FAO) in collaboration with the Sports and Youth Services Department, Government of Odisha, with the support of the respective organizing District Athletic Associations.

As per sources, the participating teams have been divided into four zones – Keonjhar, Kendrapada, Boudh, and Berhampur – where the zonal stage matches will take place. 

While the champions team will get a prize amount of Rs 1 lakh, the runners up will take home Rs 50,000.
