Bhubaneswar: At least seven undertrials escaped from a juvenile home under Raghunathpur police limits in Rourkela on Tuesday.

The incident took place during the wee hours of Tuesday, when the inmates broke open the window and jumped out of the boundary wall of the home.

Among the seven prisoners one was booked in Maoist related and armed act cases.

Intensive search operation was continuing to trace the escapees.
