Madurai: A septuagenarian school secretary has been arrested for allegedly sexually harassing girl students at a school hostel at Viswanathapuram area in the city.
Police said the 76-year-old man, who is also the hostel warden, had been arrested on a complaint from eighth and ninth standard students that he was `misbehaving` with them.
The students said no action had been taken by the authorities concerned despite several complaints. The secretary was earlier working as Personal Assistant to the District Collector.
