Sarpanch booked for raping woman

Kishtwar (JK): A sarpanch has been booked for allegedly raping a woman in Kishtwar district of Jammu and Kashmir.

In her complaint, the woman alleged that the sarpanch of Pashalla Tipri area entered her house on Tuesday evening and allegedly raped her, police said.

She also alleged that two of the accomplices of the village head also assaulted her on Wednesday. All the three have been booked and a hunt was on to trace them, police said.
