Robbers shoot industrialist son dead

The incident took place on Sunday night when Himanshu Gupta, son of industrialist and editor of a local newspaper Suneel Gupta, was returning from Ghaziabad, they said.

The culprits first forced his car to stop by overtaking it, then fired at Gupta killing him on the spot. Also, the driver suffered a bullet wound in his arm, SP (city) Ganganath Tripathi said.

The attackers took away belongings of Gupta and his elder brother Gaurav before fleeing the spot. The driver has been admitted to a local hospital.
