Rourkela: Three masked robbers looted gold ornaments worth about Rs one lakh and cash from a house in Chhend housing colony under Chhend police limit on the outskirt of the city here, police said today.

The robbers wearing monkey cap knocked at the door and barged into house when the house owner opened the door on Monday night. The robbers threatened family members at the point of pistol and left with the booty, the sources said. Manhaunt was on to nab the robbers and investigation is on.
