Phulbani: In a pre-dawn attack, armed Maoists set afire a police outpost at Subarnagiri under Kotagada police limits in Kandhamal district on Thursday.

As per reports, around 50 heavily armed rebels, including women, went on a rampage and ransacked the police outpost.

The ultras set afire the building before disappearing into the contiguous forest shouting slogans against security forces and anti-naxal operations. However, no casualty was reported after the onslaught.
