Sambhal (UP): A pregnant woman was seriously injured when her brother allegedly set her on fire after sprinkling petrol on her, police said today.

Mamta was set on fire by her brother Nanhe on September 25, police said, adding, an FIR was registered in the matter yesterday.

The brother was apparently unhappy over her marrying against the family's wishes. The condition of the woman, who was admitted to a hospital was stated to be stable.
