Bhubaneswar: Hitting out at the Congress party for allegedly misleading people over Covid-19 vaccination, BJP MP from Bhubaneswar and party’s national spokesperson Aparajita Sarangi today termed the grand-old party’s conduct ‘highly condemnable’ and ‘sign of immaturity’ while requesting to stop doing cheap politics over the world’s largest inoculation programme against Coronavirus.
She said, “The conduct of Congress party is highly condemnable and a sign of immaturity. There is a lack of coordination among the leaders of the Congress party. The government of India is giving equal importance to every State as far the supply of covid vaccine is concerned. There is no discriminatory attitude in vaccine supply.”

As a responsible opposition, the party should play a significant role in the collective fight against Covid 19 instead of politicizing the issue.
Yesterday, BJP national president JP Nadda had written to the Congress high command Sonia Gandhi expressing his displeasure over the behaviour of some Congress men regarding Covid-19 vaccine. Nadda had requested the Congress president to take necessary measures for free vaccination in all Congress-ruled States.
Nadda had alleged that the conduct of its leaders, including Rahul Gandhi, during the pandemic will be remembered for "duplicity and pettiness".
His letter came a day after the Congress Working Committee, the apex body of the opposition party, hit out at Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his government over the handling of the coronavirus crisis.
The BJP president had also accused Congress leaders, including a chief minister, of trying to actively create vaccine hesitancy during the "once-in-a-century" pandemic.
