Din Continues In Odisha Assembly Over Mamita Murder Case, House Adjourned Till 4 PM

As soon as the house met for the day to transact business, MLAs from the Opposition parties trooped to the well of the House with placards urging the Speaker to initiate action against the Minister.

The ongoing winter session of Odisha Assembly again witnessed noisy scenes on the third day on Friday as opposition BJP and Congress created ruckus in the House demanding the ouster of Minister of State for Home Dibya Shankar Mishra over his alleged complicity with the main accused of Kalahandi school teacher Mamita Meher murder case.

Speaker Surjya Narayan Patro had to adjourn the House first from 10.30 am till 11.30 am and then till 4 pm as the BJP and Congress members remained firm on their demand for the removal of Mishra from the State Cabinet.
