Nashik: The Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) caught red handed a panchayat samiti member while accepting a bribe of Rs 8,500 from a person here, ACB sources said today.

Dindori panchayat samiti member Vilas Manohar Jaste was held last evening, while he was taking the money from one Gurudutt Salve, for facilitating speedy delivery of his grandmother`s death certificate.

Following a complaint filed by Salve in the matter, the ACB laid a trap and caught him in Nashik last evening, they added.
