Rourkela: A man was sentenced to life imprisonment by a local court for killing a man in 2010.Additional District Sessions Judge (ADJ), Janab Md Ajamal yesterday found Agasti Behera guilty after examining 21 witnesses and considering other evidences during the trial.

According to the prosecution, Behera had a love affair with Shishir Kumar`s sister-in-law and the latter was opposed to their affair. Both Behera and Sisir Kumar had an argument over the issue on May 31, 2010, in Haripur area under Uditnagar police limit of the city.

Behera stabbed Shishir Kumar and killed him on the spot. Behera was arrested the following day.
