A Chinese University has invented a unique remote kissing device that can help long-distance couples to smooch each other on the internet. The device will let long-distance lovers share ‘real’ physical intimacy.
Yes, you read that right!
The unique smooch device has been patented by the Changzhou Vocational Institute of Mechatronic Technology. The device has silicone lips and is equipped with pressure sensors and actuators.
It is able to mimic a real kiss by replicating the pressure, movement and temperature of a person’s lips. What’s more interesting is that apart from the kissing, the device can also transmit the sound the persons make.
To use it, users have to simply download a mobile app and plug the device into the phone’s charging port. After pairing the device with the partner on the app, they can then start a video call and transmit replicas of their kisses to each other.
The amazing invention was shared on Twitter by a social media user.
Sharing a video, he wrote, “Remote kissing device for long-distance lovers, invented and patented by Chinese University student in Chagzhou City. The mouth-shaped module, served as an inducing area for lovers to make the kiss and then it can transfer kiss gesture to the mouth on the other side.”
The unique invention has created a buzz among social media users who came up with hilarious reactions in the comment section.
