A youth was found dead under mysterious circumstances inside a locked house in Kansar village under Bonai police limits on Tuesday. The deceased, Ranjit Kisan, was alone at home while his family had gone to work on their farmland. When a few locals went to call him, they discovered him lying motionless with blood oozing from his ears and visible injuries near his elbow.

The locals immediately alerted Ranjit’s family and rushed him to the Bonai Community Health Centre in an ambulance. However, doctors declared him dead on arrival. His sudden death sent shockwaves among the family members.

Family Filed Complaint Against Sister-In-Law

Following the incident, the family lodged a complaint against a relative, his sister-in-law, whom they suspected in connection with the death. Based on the complaint, the Bonai Police acted promptly and detained the woman for questioning.

Police Begin Investigation

Police began investigating various aspects of the case, including the basis of the family’s suspicion and whether any recent developments may have led to the accusation. The exact cause of Ranjit’s death remains unknown.
