Villagers still struggling in aftermath of floods in Odisha’s Bhadrak 

The worst-affected panchayats are Talagopabindha, Bilana, Baro, Kampada and Shyamsundarpur. Due to the flood in the Salandi River, the villages have been marooned for the last nine days.

Even after days since the low-pressure-induced rain stopped, the residents of several villages of Tihidi block in Bhadrak district are still struggling with problems arising out of the flood that occurred in the Salandi river.   

The worst-affected panchayats are Talagopabindha, Bilana, Baro, Kampada and Shyamsundarpur. Due to the flood in the Salandi River, the villages have been marooned for the last nine days. The villagers have to wade through knee-deep water on roads.
