In a tragic incident, two persons died and another was critically injured after they rammed their motorcycle into a stationary truck on NH-520 at Roida Chhak under Barbil Police limits of Keonjhar district on Tuesday.
As per reports, a man, a woman, and a five-year-old girl of Azad Basti of Joda area were on the bike. The bike was reportedly moving at breakneck speed and hit the truck from behind.
The man and the minor girl died on the spot while the woman was critically injured.
The deceased girl was identified as Anki Mahakud, the daughter of the injured woman Sanju Mahakud. The man who died in the accident was identified till the last received report.
The critically injured woman was admitted to Barbil Hospital. Her condition was stated to be serious.
Meanwhile, Barbil Police rushed to the spot and started an investigation into the matter.
