Thermal drone cam spots sick elephant calf in Odisha; treatment process begins

The Forest Department has started the process of treating a sick elephant calf in Dabarchua Reserve Forest under the Patana range of Keonjhar district. 

The Forest Department came to know about the sick calf from the visuals recorded by a thermal drone camera. The animal has been wandering in the Daburchua reserve forest for the last one week. After knowing about the sick jumbo calf, the department has started its efforts to treat it. Before treatment, it has to be tranquilized so that veterinary doctors can go near it.
