Clearing air about the inclusion of Anganwadi workers under the BJP government’s flagship scheme Subhadra Yojana, Odisha Deputy Chief Minister Pravati Parida said that all the excluded Anganwadi workers will get assistance in the third phase.
Speaking to the media in Bhubaneswar, Parida said, “Many Anganwadi workers, who were not included under the scheme in the first and second phase and are in doubt, I assure them that they will get assistance in the third phase.”
“As many as 2.67 lakh applications got rejected. However, the Cabinet has decided to recheck the rejected application so that not a single eligible beneficiary is excluded. I think this is the first time in history, where the reject list is being reviewed,” Parida added.
“A detailed guideline for reviewing the rejected application will be released on November 1,” she informed.
Notably, Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched the BJP government's flagship scheme on his birthday during his visit to the state on September 17.
Under Subhadra Yojana eligible beneficiaries under the age group of 21 to 60 years will get Rs 50000 assistance in 10 installments (Rs 5000 each).
