An applicant should be a resident of Odisha

An applicant’s age should be 21 years old or above and below 60 years on the cut-off date

An applicant’s date of birth on the AADHAAR card will be considered

For the financial year 2024-25, an applicant should be 21 years old or above and below 60 years old by July 1, 2024. So the beneficiary’s birthday should be between July 2, 1964 and July 1, 2003. For the rest of the years, the government will decide the eligible date.

Benefits under SUBHADRA Yojana

All the eligible beneficiaries will get Rs 10,000 per year for five years. In between, those women who will attain the age of 21 years will be eligible to receive the money for the rest of the years. Similarly, those who will cross 60 years will stop receiving the money.

The annual assistance of Rs 10,000 will be provided in two equal instalments. While the first instalment of Rs 5,000 will be credited to their accounts on Rakhi Purnima, the second instalment of Rs 5,000 will be credited on International Women’s Day (March 8). The beneficiary will also get a ‘SUBHADRA’ debit card.

The money will be deposited directly to the beneficiary’s AADHAAR-enabled single-holder (DBT) bank account through the AADHAAR Payment Bridge System (APBS).

To encourage digital transactions, the government will identify 100 such beneficiaries who have done maximum digital transactions in each gram panchayat and urban local body and give an additional Rs 500 to each of them.

Selection of beneficiaries

All eligible women can apply.

They can apply either offline by filling up a form or online through the SUBHDRA portal.

A specific form will be available free of cost at Anganwadi centres, block offices, Mo Seva Kendras, Jana Seva Kendras etc. After filling up the form, the beneficiaries have to deposit them at Mo Seva Kendras/Jana Seva Kendras.

In case of any discrepancy between the information given in the form and AADHAAR, the AADHAAR information will be considered.

The applications will be tallied with the recent database available with the government. If required, inspection will be done by field visit.

They will submit an affidavit for e-KYC. They can do the face authentication process through the SUBHADRA portal or the SUBHADRA mobile app by providing their AADHAAR number.

A beneficiary can opt out of SUBHADRA Yojana, supporting the empowerment and welfare of others.

Requirements to avail of SUBHADRA money

A beneficiary must have an AADHAAR Card/AADHAAR number

A beneficiary must have linked her mobile number to her AADHAAR number.

A beneficiary must have an AADHAAR-enabled single-holder (DBT) bank account.

If a beneficiary doesn’t have an AADHAAR number or her AADHAAR card information doesn’t tally, she has to register under AADHAAR or make necessary changes.

In the financial year 2024-25, all the beneficiaries will get Rs 10,000 from the yojana’s inauguration date.
