Earlier, the Odisha government had introduced the ‘Opt-in’ option in the Subhadra portal for the eligible beneficiaries who had earlier chosen the ‘Opt Out’ option in the Subhadra Yojana. The new facility was created to provide options to the beneficiaries for re-enrollment into the scheme.

However, over 200,000 applicants have yet to complete their electronic Know Your Customer (e-KYC) process, potentially jeopardising their prospects to receive the financial assistance under the Subhadra yojana despite being eligible.

Meanwhile, the Odisha cabinet has approved 31st March 2025 as the deadline for registration to avail benefits under the Subhadra Yojana for the financial year 2024-25.

Earlier on December 30, Deputy CM Pravati Parida announced that in 2025, women across Odisha will benefit from the Subhadra Yojana funds on three separate occasions throughout the year.
