While the beneficiaries continue to apply for the new BJP government’s ambitious scheme 'Subhadra Yojana', Odisha Deputy Chief Minister Pravati Parida on Wednesday said that those who are yet to get the first installment of the scheme will get it by March 8.
Speaking to the media, Parida said, “As many as 92 lakh women have applied for the scheme and the first installment has been disbursed to 25.11 lakh beneficiaries. The number will reach to 1 crore in a week.”
“The beneficiaries, who have not received the first installment yet, need not worry as it will be credited to their bank accounts by March 8. As the transfer is being done through online mode, it is taking time. However, all the beneficiaries will get the second installment on the same day that is International Women’s Day,” Parida added.
“The four slabs to reach the beneficiaries of Subhadra Yojana will be finalised soon and all the beneficiaries will get the assistance. Other than the taxpayers, all the eligible beneficiaries got the assistance,” Parida assured.
