In a significant announcement, Odisha Deputy Chief Minister Pravati Parida stated that the Subhadra Portal will reopen for applications after August 9.

This decision comes as a major relief for many young women who turned 21 after the initial application window closed. They will now have a fresh opportunity to apply for the scheme and avail its financial benefits.

This move aims to ensure that no deserving woman is left out of the scheme, which is designed to provide financial empowerment and support to women across Odisha.

Here is how you can apply

  • All eligible women applicants must apply under this scheme to receive its benefits.
  • Applications can be submitted both offline by filling out a printed form and online through the Subhadra Portal.
  • Sufficient printed application forms will be made available free of cost at various locations and offices such as Anganwadi Centres, Block Offices, ULB Offices, Mo Seva Kendras, and Common Service Centres (CSCs).
  •  Applicants must fill out the form and submit it at the nearest Mo Seva Kendra (MSK) or Common Service Centre (CSC).
  • If there is any discrepancy between the information provided in the application form and Aadhaar data, the information in the Aadhaar will be treated as final.
  • All submitted applications will be verified by the government against the most recent available databases, and if needed, field verification will also be conducted.
  • All applicants must self-declare to be considered eligible under the Subhadra Scheme, and complete the e-KYC requirement. For e-KYC, face authentication will be the most preferred method. Beneficiaries can complete this process by providing their Aadhaar number through the Subhadra Mobile App.
  • Any beneficiary can voluntarily choose to opt out of the Subhadra Scheme through the portal if they wish to support the empowerment and welfare of their fellow eligible sisters across Odisha.
