BJD MLA Byomakesh Ray said that without informing the aspirants, the Special OTET exam was cancelled because the question paper went viral a day before the exam schedule.

“There have been question paper leaks in OPSC, SSC to RI and Amin exams. The question papers are being intentionally leaked by workers, leaders, and BJP Ministers. The future of so many job aspirants is at stake now. In 12 months, there have been 12 instances of leaks and errors in exam papers,” Ray alleged.

This BJP government has totally failed to even conduct exams. Stern action needs to be taken against such lapses. The Board of Secondary Education chairperson should resign. School and Mass Education Minister Nityananda Gond should also resign, he added.

Another protester alleged, “The OTET question papers have been sold. The cancellation of the Special OTET exam clearly indicates a 'bribe for job' scam. We demand the resignation of the School and Mass Education Minister. 75000 OTET aspirants suffered because of the cancellation of the exam.”

The concerned officials or the Minister has not yet responded to the allegations.
