SJTA to display Mahaprasad rate chart in Srimandir's Anand Bazar

The Shree Jagannath Temple Administration (SJTA) has decided to display the rate chart of Mahaprasad at Ananda Bazar in Srimandir for the devotees. Such a decision was taken at a disciplinary committee meeting held at the Temple office headed by SJTA Chief Ranjan Kumar Das.

As per reports, representatives of Suara Mahasuara Nijog, Managing Committee members, and district Police attended the meeting. 

Apart from displaying the rate chart, decisions were also taken on providing drinking water for the devotees, identifying ‘non-suaras’, setting up a help desk at Ananda Bazar, removal of polythene sheets and installation of sheds in Ananda Bazar.

The Committee also decided to provide Mahaprasad at Uttaradwara by Mahasuara Nijog.

"This will ensure smooth sale of Mahaprasad and the devotees will be able to eat at much hygienic atmosphere. We have even demanded the authorities to provide drinking water to the devotees at Ananda Bazar too,” said Padmanabha Mahasuara, president of Suara Mahasuara Nijog.
