Seven including four students injured in lightning strike in Khordha

As many as seven persons including four students and two teachers were injured in lightning strikes in Nirakarpur and Dalaka areas of Khordha on Friday evening.

As per reports, the students and teachers were returning from a coaching centre when it rained heavily. They were taking shelter under a tree when the lightning struck injuring them all.

The injured students and teachers were rushed to the Khordha district hospital where they are currently under treatment.

In another incident, a woman at Dalaka village in Khordha was also injured in a lightning strike. The victim is also under treatment at the Khordha district hospital.
