The residents of Koida in Sundargarh district witnessed the first fog of the season on Wednesday morning with visibility reducing significantly.
As per sources, thick fog covered the region in the morning. As a result, the visibility was reduced to as low as 20 metres.

Many vehicles were seen remaining stranded on road en route to Tensa from Koida. The foggy conditions prevailed till 6 am.
On the other hand, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted a fresh spell of rainfall in some districts of the state.
As per the IMD, a cyclonic circulation is likely to form over north Andaman Sea and neighbourhood around September 29. Under its influence, a low pressure area is likely to form over the north Andaman Sea and adjoining east-central Bay of Bengal during the subsequent 24 hours.
Thereafter, it is likely to move west-northwestwards with the possibility of gradual intensification, said the IMD.
