Scooter rider dead in head-on collision with bus in Odisha’s Boudh

A scooter rider was killed after he reportedly collided with a passenger bus on National Highway 57 near Rangamatia under Boudh’s Harabhanga block on Friday.

The identity of the deceased has not been ascertained yet.

As per reports, the bus was on its way to Raipur from Berhampur when the mishap occurred. All the passengers of the bus were reportedly unhurt.

Following the mishap, the Puruna-Katak Police reached the spot and sent the body for autopsy.

A probe has been launched in this connection.
