Sachidananda Mohanty appointed DMET, Odisha

Professor Dr Sachidananda Mohanty has been appointed the new Director of Medical Education and Training (DMET) in Odisha.

The Odisha Health and Family Welfare department notified about the development on Wednesday.

The department notification in this connection read, “Sachidananda Mohanty, currently on deputation as Superintendent of AIIMS, Bhubaneswar, is posted as Director of Medical Education and Training, Odisha with effect from March 31, 2023 or from the date he actually assumes the charge.”

“The NOC for extension of deputation of Dr Sachidananda Mohanty issued vide this Department Letter No. 4418 dated 7.3.2022 is superseded accordingly,” the notice further read.

Dr Rama Raman Mohanty was appointed as the DMET, Odisha replacing Dr CBK Mohanty in November 2021.
