Rs 120 cr- Specialised Steel Product Manufacturing Plant To Come Up In Odisha

Vibhor Steel Tubes Ltd (VSTL) has commissioned its new manufacturing facility in Sundargarh, Odisha, further strengthening its footprint in Eastern India’s growing steel market. The plant, with a capacity of 1.56 lakh tonnes per annum (LTPA), takes the company’s total installed production capacity to 3.77 LTPA across India.

Built with an investment of Rs 119.83 crore, the Sundargarh facility is designed to cater to the rising demand for specialized steel products such as crash barriers, high mast lighting poles, and monopoles. These products are critical for infrastructure and industrial development projects, which are witnessing accelerated growth across the eastern region.

The company currently operates three manufacturing plants located in Maharashtra, Telangana, and now Odisha, enabling better logistical access and faster response to market demands nationwide.

Vijay Kaushik, Chairman and Executive Director of Vibhor Steel Tubes, described the commissioning as a milestone for the company’s growth trajectory. “The commencement of electricity supply at the Sundargarh plant marks the culmination of our efforts to create a state-of-the-art facility. This plant is integral to our strategy of focusing on high-margin value-added products and expanding into newer markets,” Kaushik said in a statement.

The expansion aligns with VSTL’s vision of supporting India’s infrastructural push, while also enhancing its capability to deliver quality products to a diverse customer base.
