From luxury sofa sets to glossy glass tables, the abandoned train coach has been well furnished with all the necessities of a restaurant to cater to the needs of the customers and passengers.
Around 42 people can sit at a time in this restaurant sprawling in over 110 square/meter area on the premises of the Rayagada railway station.

Special arrangements have been made at the restaurant to ensure that refreshments, meals, and other dishes are made available for people round-the-clock with priority on the quality of food.

After relishing food here, G Chiranjivi, a customer said.” It is almost like a luxury hotel. Passengers and people will have the facility of getting good food here.”

As for the rail coach restaurant, stationmaster Paramanada Pidiaka said, "As part of the asset management, the Indian Railways has been reutilizing its old and outdated assets for commercial use to generate revenue. The restaurant has been rented on a contractual basis. Most of the time, many passengers land here late at night when eateries in the locality are shut.
