Renowned Ramcharitmanas preacher dies while delivering discourse in Bhadrak

A tragic incident unfolded in Sahada Panchayat of Bhadrak district, where a well-known preacher, Professor Gopal Prasad Bej, passed away while delivering a religious discourse. 

Bej was a scholar and a prominent speaker on Ramcharitmanas, widely known in the local community for his profound knowledge and eloquent sermons.

Professor Bej, a resident of Aduan Dhatapur in Basudevpur block, was invited as the main speaker at a three-day Shri Ramcharitmanas Navahna Parayan and Pravachan event at the Ram Temple in Sahada Panchayat. The religious gathering attracted devotees and scholars eager to listen to his insightful teachings.

However, on the second evening (March 31) of the event, while delivering his discourse, Professor Bej suddenly collapsed on stage. His associates and devotees present at the venue immediately rushed him to Bhadrak Medical College and Hospital. However, doctors at the hospital declared him dead on arrival.

His untimely demise has cast a shadow of grief over the entire region. Followers and devotees are mourning the loss of a revered scholar whose teachings touched many lives. The local community, including students, fellow educators, and spiritual seekers, have expressed their deep sorrow over this unexpected loss.
