Range Rover hits bike in Bhubaneswar, CRPF jawan, woman injured

Two bike riders including a Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) jawan and a woman were critically injured after a speeding Range Rover hit their bike in Bhubaneswar.

As per reports, the Range Rover came down from the direction of 120 battalion and hit the two-wheeler at power house square traffic signal.

The impact of the collision was so severe that the bike rider duo was thrown of their vehicle on the busy intersection.

Following the mishap, the injured were rushed to the hospital for treatment. As per reports, while the CRPF jawan is currently undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Bhubaneswar the woman riding pillion is said to be critical.

On the other hand, the driver of the Range Rover (OD 23K 0006), Soubhagya Kumar Bag has been arrested by the Capital police on charges of rash driving. The car has also been seized.

However, more details about the luxury car revealed that it is registered with a company named Armour Ray Ventures Private Limited (ARVPL) with former Minister Naba Das’ son Bishal Das as its Director.
