Pravasi Bharatiya Divas exhibition to open for public from Jan 11

The Pravasi Bharatiya Divas (PBD) exhibition, underway at Janata Maidan in Bhubaneswar, will be open to the public from January 11. The event will remain accessible to everyone, including students, until January 12 evening.

This exhibition is part of the Pravasi Bharatiya Divas celebrations, honouring the contributions of the Indian diaspora across various fields. Visitors will have the unique opportunity to engage with displays that showcase the rich cultural heritage of India, along with achievements of the global Indian community.

The event aims to strengthen the connection between India and its Diaspora by providing a platform for dialogue and cultural exchange. It offers insights into India’s initiatives in science, technology, and art, demonstrating how the diaspora can contribute to the country's progress.

Odisha Deputy Chief Minister Pravati Parida said, "A decision in this regard was taken today as the PBD venue houses many inspiring and enriching models that boasts our rich cultures and heritage. The venue will be open for the public till January 12. This is will be free. Besides, there will be cultural programmes"
