Directorate of Higher Secondary Education (DHSE), Odisha, has begun the e-Admission process for Plus 2 for the academic session 2025–26. Students can now apply online for admission into Arts, Science, Commerce, Upashastri, and Vocational streams across all Higher Secondary Schools (HSSs) affiliated to CHSE (O) and Shree Jagannath Sanskrit University, Puri.
Who Can Apply?
Eligibility is open to those who have passed the High School Certificate (HSC) Examination conducted by the Board of Secondary Education (BSE), Odisha, or an equivalent board.
This year, 4,84,863 students have passed Matric and are eligible to apply. Applicants can select their preferred college through the SAMS portal (www.samsodisha.gov.in).
Important Dates and Process
The online application process will open on May 24, 2025, at 2:00 pm and will close at 11:45 pm on June 30, 2025. Students are advised to carefully read the Common Prospectus (CP) before filling in the Common Application Form (CAF).
The first merit list will be released on July 7, 2025, at 11:45 am. Admission for the first selection will take place from July 8 to July 14 (up to 6:00 pm). Classes for Class-XI will begin on July 24, 2025.
Application Fees and Document Verification
The application fee is Rs 200 for General category candidates and Rs 100 for SC/ST candidates. However, PwD, transgender applicants, and orphans are exempt from paying any fee.
Original documents must be presented at the time of admission for verification. Any claim for reservation, weightage, or relaxation must be supported with valid documentation.
