Passengers were left exasperated at Jeypore Airport in Koraput on Tuesday following the abrupt cancellation of their flight from Jaipur to Visakhapatnam.
As a result, the passengers were reportedly stranded at the airport for six hours with no alleged assistance from the airline, India One Air.
As per reports, the cancellation was due to unspecified technical issues, leaving passengers in a state of dismay due to inadequate information or alternative travel arrangements.
The flight was initially set to depart at 11:50 am on Tuesday. However, passengers found themselves stranded until they were informed at 1:45 pm that the cancellation was due to unresolved technical problems.

Despite checking in, as many as nine passengers allegedly faced the inconvenience without any further updates or support from the airline.
Passengers express dissatisfaction
Meanwhile, adding to the complexity of the situation, there are concerns regarding the aircraft's subsequent use. It has been alleged that the same plane, instead of heading to Visakhapatnam, was redirected to Bhubaneswar with another set of nine passengers.
The lack of clarification from the authorities of Jaipur Airport and India One Air has reportedly fuelled dissatisfaction among the passengers, as the affected travellers were not provided any alternative arrangement.
Neither the airport officials nor the airline has allegedly issued any statement addressing the grievances or outlining remedial measures for the incident.
Meanwhile, the passengers have expressed dissatisfaction over communication gaps and the absence of immediate resolutions, emphasising a need for more effective customer service in such scenarios.
“We were set to travel to Visakhapatnam. However, the flight came late. Moreover, we were not informed on why the flight came late. Later, we were told that the flight would not take off due to technical issues and the pilot would take the flight to Bhubaneswar which is its base place. But then we were told that the flight would take other passengers to Bhubaneswar. If the flight has technical issues how it could carry other passengers to Bhubaneswar?” asked a passenger.
“We were not provided any alternative facilities. I am an elderly person and I have many physical ailments. What I will do now? The airport authorities are not cooperating with us,” rued another passenger.
